What We Need:
iHeartMedia Tiger Team has an immediate opening for an experienced streaming and digital audio engineer focused on new technology implementation, support and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do:

Successful candidates should have senior level experience with content production and distribution of audio via file-based or streaming protocols. This position will require the ability to lead in a highly collaborative problem-solving environment. Strong computer Networking/IT skills are expected as well as a basic understanding of cloud computing environments. The successful applicant would be part of a team responsible for developing and implementing new technology across iHeartMedia.

What You'll Need:

  • Responds to equipment outages, malfunctions, and related technical problems.
  • Position supports 24x7 operations and requires on-call responsibilities.
  • Works with team to develop new technology system, procedures, and processes.
  • Assists fellow technicians, and service personnel in the installation, training and support of software, hardware, and related 3rd party peripheral components, including but are not limited to file servers, commercial-grade workstations, networking switches, NICs, monitors, KVMs, and radio equipment.
  • Document equipment installation and configuration
  • Manage contractors to reach project milestones.
  • This is a service-oriented position requiring excellent written and oral communications as well as daily and personable interaction with executive management, programming and other technical groups.
  • Travel to iHeartMedia market locations may be required.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have an understanding of AWS workflows
  • Possess an understanding of streaming protocols, and associated transport topologies
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an excellent driving record.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work in small places and lift 50 pounds.
  • This position involves up to 20% travel.
  • Mobile phone required for position.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.

$34.62 - $43.27
